The Advisor
Financial Advisor · Author · Columnist
Miguel Braun is a financial advisor specialized in capital markets. FOX Capital is a CNV-registered introducing agent that works with the top brokerage firms in Argentina and the United States. They provide the platforms; we provide advisory services to clients. We combine deep fundamental analysis with a clear macroeconomic view to guide families and companies in building solid, sustainable wealth.
Miguel is a lawyer, holds a master's in finance and is the author of the book Finanzas para Todos, a practical guide to financial education and investment philosophy aimed at Spanish-speaking readers. He also writes columns in El Economista and contributes to articles in Forbes Argentina on economics, markets and investment opportunities.
His approach is based on the principles of Value Investing developed by Benjamin Graham and refined by Warren Buffett and John Templeton: invest in quality companies at reasonable prices, with a long-term horizon and without being swayed by market noise.
Methodology
The philosophy that guides every investment decision at FOX Capital.
Value Investing means buying assets that trade below their real value. You analyze the business in depth — its earnings, debts, competitive advantages and prospects — to determine what it is genuinely worth, regardless of what the market says at any given moment.
A core concept from Benjamin Graham: only invest when the market price is significantly below the calculated intrinsic value. That margin acts as a cushion against analytical errors or unforeseen events, protecting capital in adverse scenarios.
Warren Buffett put it best: "time in the market beats timing the market". The Value Investor does not speculate or trade in the short term. They buy excellent businesses and hold them for as long as it takes for the market to recognize their real value.
Benjamin Graham
"Good businesses are generally considered to be those with strong barriers to entry, limited capital requirements, reliable customers, low risk of technological obsolescence, abundant growth possibilities and, therefore, significant and growing free cash flow."
Warren Buffett
"Price is what you pay. Value is what you get."
John Templeton
"To buy when others are desperately selling and to sell when others are buying with too much enthusiasm is the hardest thing to do. But it pays the greatest rewards."

Finanzas para todos (Finance for Everyone) is a direct investment in your financial education and personal finances. It explains everything you need to know in a simple and accessible way. Published in Spanish.
First, it analyzes Argentina's main problems and how they could be solved. It then explores fundamental concepts such as how interest rates work and the role of central banks in monetary policy — key to understanding the global economy.
The book then dives deep into investment philosophy and the advice of the great legends of finance: Benjamin Graham, Warren Buffett and John Templeton. The idea is to discover how these financial geniuses think and to study the habits, principles and processes they used to build their great fortunes — so we can apply them too.
Anyone who follows the principles laid out in the second part will find a way to generate great wealth.
